Clear scope
We document the payrolls, services, deadlines, contacts and responsibilities included in the engagement. Requests outside that scope are assessed before work begins.
Clipper Contractor Group Ltd is a UK-registered business providing outsourced payroll administration to employers. We help clients operate a consistent payroll cycle with documented inputs, approval controls and clear outputs.

Our work is administrative and process-led. We act on information and instructions supplied or approved by the client. We do not obscure who employs the worker, who controls the payroll decisions or who is responsible for funding payroll liabilities.
Depending on the agreed scope, our services can cover:
The precise service is set out in a written proposal or service agreement before work begins.
We base each engagement on five operating principles.
We document the payrolls, services, deadlines, contacts and responsibilities included in the engagement. Requests outside that scope are assessed before work begins.
The client remains in control of payroll decisions. Material inputs, changes, exceptions and final totals must be approved by an authorised client contact.
We maintain records of payroll inputs, queries, approvals and outputs so that changes can be followed and investigated.
We request and use the personal data reasonably needed to provide the agreed service. Access is limited according to business need.
We explain where payroll administration ends and where the client may need advice from an accountant, tax adviser, employment lawyer, HR adviser or pension specialist.

Our legal and trading identity is Clipper Contractor Group Ltd.
Our registered office is the formal address for company correspondence. Meetings are arranged in advance and are not offered on a walk-in basis.
Unless expressly agreed in a separate written contract, Clipper Contractor Group Ltd:
is not the employer of workers included in a client's payroll;
does not source, place or supply workers;
does not provide umbrella payroll or employer-of-record services;
does not decide whether an individual is employed, self-employed or engaged through an intermediary;
does not guarantee a particular tax, employment or pension outcome; and
does not replace the client's professional advisers.
Before accepting a new payroll, we assess whether the proposed work fits our service model and whether the client can provide the records and authority required for processing. We may decline or pause work where instructions are incomplete, inconsistent with the agreed service, potentially unlawful or unsupported by adequate records.
